  • An eBike includes pedals and is designed primarily as a bicycle with electric assistance. An eMoto is an electric motorcycle designed for higher-performance riding, generally on private property, tracks or designated off-road areas.

  • Road-use rules depend on the vehicle’s power, speed, configuration and your state or territory. Many high-powered or unrestricted models are intended for private-property or off-road use only. It is the rider’s responsibility to check the applicable local laws before riding in public.

  • Compliant eBikes do not require registration or a licence. Most eMotos sold are designed for private-property and off-road use only and cannot legally be ridden on public roads. Only certain road-approved eMoto models may be registered and ridden on public roads with the appropriate licence, registration and approvals. Always confirm the model’s classification and your local requirements before riding.

  • Range varies depending on the model, battery capacity, rider weight, terrain, speed, tyre pressure, weather and riding mode. Manufacturer range figures are estimates and may not reflect real-world riding conditions.

  • Charging time depends on the battery and charger supplied with your bike. Check the owner’s manual for the recommended charging time and always use a manufacturer-approved charger.

  • Charge in a dry, ventilated area away from heat and flammable materials. Use the correct manufacturer-approved charger, inspect the battery and cable before charging, and avoid leaving the battery charging unattended or overnight.

  • Store the bike and battery in a secure, dry and temperature controlled location. Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight, extreme heat, freezing conditions or moisture. For longer storage periods, follow the battery-charge recommendations in your owner’s manual.

  • Water resistance varies between models, but water-resistant does not mean waterproof. Avoid deep water, heavy rain, flooding and directly spraying electrical components. Water damage may not be covered under warranty.

  • For an eBike, turn the power off and clean it using a soft, damp cloth and a bike-safe cleaning product. Avoid hosing the bike or directing water at electrical components.

    Many off-road eMotos can be gently rinsed with a low-pressure hose after riding. Turn the bike off, make sure the battery and charging-port covers are properly secured, and avoid spraying directly at electrical connections, bearings, seals, the display or charging port. Never use a pressure washer.

    Always follow the cleaning instructions for your specific model, as water-resistance ratings and requirements vary.

  • Service intervals vary by brand, model and riding conditions. We recommend an initial inspection after the bike has settled in, followed by servicing according to the manufacturer’s schedule. Frequent or demanding off-road use may require more regular maintenance.

  • Regularly check tyre pressure, brakes, chain or belt condition, fluid levels where applicable, fasteners and visible wiring. Keep the bike clean and correctly lubricated. Electrical repairs and advanced adjustments should be completed by a qualified technician.

  • Always wear an approved helmet, enclosed footwear and clothing suitable for the bike’s performance and intended use. Gloves, eye protection and protective riding gear are strongly recommended particularly when riding an eMoto or riding off-road.

  • Only if the bike is specifically designed and equipped to carry one. Never exceed the manufacturer’s maximum load rating, and check the applicable rules before carrying a passenger in a public area.

  • It depends on the model. Many eMotos are built specifically for off-road riding, while not all eBikes are suitable for trails or rough terrain. Check your bike’s intended use before riding.

  • Manufacturer warranties generally cover eligible faults in materials or workmanship for a specified period. The exact coverage and warranty period vary by brand and model. Refer to the warranty section for your bike’s brand for full details.

  • Common exclusions include normal wear and tear, crashes, misuse, water damage, insufficient maintenance, incorrect assembly, competition use and unauthorised repairs or modifications. All claims are assessed under the relevant manufacturer’s warranty terms

  • It can. Performance upgrades, altered wiring, non-original electrical components and unauthorised repairs may affect coverage particularly if they cause or contribute to the fault.

  • Stop riding if the bike is damaged, unsafe or behaving unusually. Contact Rodi with your proof of purchase and clear photos or videos of the issue. We’ll inspect and diagnose the bike, then help coordinate an eligible warranty claim with the manufacturer or distributor.
